Overview

Dr. Bentkover will be a faculty member at an instructional course on injectible fillers at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Recontructive Surgery in Boston on September 25th.  He will be lecturing on Radiesse® and demonstrating its use.

Dr. Bentkover has over 30 years experience with facial fillers.

As you age, unfortunately you often lose volume or fullness in parts of your face, and creases may also deepen.  Facial fillers can help alleviate these problems.

The right facial filler for you depends on the location to be filled, the depth of the area to be filled, and how long you want it to last.

There are a number of cosmetic facial fillers available on the market for facial augmentation. Each has distinct advantages and disadvantages. Most of the fillers currently available legally for facial implantation in the United States are temporary, ranging from about 3 months to18 months in longevity.  One permanent filler has been approved by the FDA.  (For permanent augmentation see web page on Facial Augmentation).

At the time of this writing, a number of new injectible fillers are also awaiting further FDA approval. As they become available Dr. Bentkover will carefully examine their safety and effectiveness relative to existing products before recommending them to our patients.

The appropriate choice and use of a facial filler requires a detailed understanding of facial anatomy, a clear understanding of how your facie is aging and an eye for placing the filler where it will look natural. Most often Dr. Bentkover uses Radiesse® Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Perlane® and occassionally Hydrelle®. As a member of the Radiesse™ Medical Education Faculty, Dr. Bentkover teaches Radiesse™ injection techniques to other physicians.

The next page of this website (Types of Fillers) has a detailed discussion of facial fillers, including when and why Dr. Bentkover likes to use them.

Dr. Bentkover uses the most Radiesse® in Worcester County, and yet, we have reduced our prices for Radiesse® (http://www.radiesseusa.com/?CID=360)

.  Already our longest lasting, most natural appearing, and most cost effective filler....Now Radiesse® is more affordable than ever!  Please go on to the next page...
